YouRent exists because the traditional lettings model charges both sides for the same introduction. A tenant pays admin fees. A landlord pays commission. Neither payment makes the property any easier to find.
We take the agent out of the middle. Landlords advertise directly and pay a flat fee for a listing package rather than a percentage of the rent. Tenants pay nothing at all — no admin fees, no referencing charges to see a property, no holding fee to be taken seriously.
What we do check
Removing the agent does not mean removing the safeguards. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it appears, every landlord and contractor is identity-verified, and a listing comes down as soon as the property is let so nobody wastes a journey on something that has already gone.
What we do not do
We are not a letting agent and do not act for either party. We do not hold tenancy deposits, draft tenancy agreements, or manage properties. Where you need that kind of help we can arrange it through our compliance services, but the tenancy itself is between the landlord and the tenant.
